Hire the hands that
know the kit.
Need a camera operator or someone to light your shoot properly? I bring a compact but capable lighting kit and a cinematographer's eye to your production , no fuss, no ego, just good work on set.
Whether you need a second set of hands or someone to take the lead, I'm comfortable across all three of these roles and have been increasingly placed in each of them on productions across Brisbane and South East Queensland.
three ways I can show up for your shoot.
01 Camera operator
Primary operator for interviews, brand films, events, and run-and-gun shoots. I handle the frame so you can focus on the production.
02 Lighting design
Pre-production to on-set execution. I build a lighting look that serves the story — motivated, cinematic, and consistent across the day.
03 Lighting tech / gaffer
Happy to support a DP's vision or lead the electrical department myself. Fast setup, good problem-solving, and a kit that punches above its weight.
small kit. serious output.
I run a compact but capable lighting kit — the kind that fits in a small hatchback, sets up fast, and doesn't require a truck and a crew of five to operate. It's designed to be versatile across interview, narrative, and event setups. You're not paying for gear you don't need, and nothing slows down your shoot day waiting on a rig to be built.
It also means I integrate seamlessly into your existing workflow. Bring me in alongside your DP, your director, or a bigger crew, I slot in, I take direction, and I get it done.
fits straight into your production.
You've already got a shoot locked in. Maybe you need an extra operator. Maybe you need someone to handle lighting so your DP can focus on camera. Either way, the process is simple:
1) reach out with your shoot details
Date, location, what you need covered. I'll let you know if I'm available and whether my kit suits the job.
2) pre-production (if needed)
For lighting design work, I'll review your references, talk through the look with your DP or director, and come to set with a plan — not questions.
3) show up and deliver
On the day, I'm there early, set up fast, and work clean. I'm used to fitting into other people's productions, no ego, no disruption, just solid work.

FAQs
do you work as a crew hire or do you bring your own kit?
1
Both. I can come as crew-only with no kit, or bring my lighting setup as part of the package — whatever suits your production budget and what you've already got on hand.
what kind of productions have you worked on?
2
Music videos, corporate shoots, events, and branded content across Brisbane and South East Queensland. I'm comfortable in both high-pressure run-and-gun environments and more controlled studio-style setups.
can you work under a DP or director?
3
Absolutely. I'm used to taking direction and slotting into existing crew structures. I know when to take initiative and when to follow the lead — that's what makes a good set.
what are your day rates?
4
Day rates vary depending on the role, kit requirements, and shoot duration. Reach out with your project details and I'll give you a straight answer — no runaround.
